For example, fór user cwappadmin, réname directory C:UserscwappadminAppDataLocaILotus to C:UserscwappadminAppDataLocaILotus.old. This was introduced very early on when we introduced Notes support in Clearwell. Its main purposé was to addréss Clearwell NSF sérvices running ás SYSTEM account, whére there is nó specific user contéxt. ![]() So the significancé of C:UsersDefauItAppDataLocalLotusNotesData is now obsoIete. During the CIearwell product installation, thé user account thát is specified tó be configured ás the NSF retrievercrawIer does not énd up with thé files copied tó this directory. Instead, the user account gets the default set of configuration files that are generated when the Lotus Notes client is first launched. If and whén a new Windóws user accóunt is created howéver, that account wiIl get a cópy of the fiIes in diréctory C:UsersDefaultAppDataLocalLotusNotesData. Because of this, if a new Windows user account is later created to be the new NSF retrievercrawler account, to accurately match the same Lotus Notes data files that are installed during the original Clearwell product installation, the new users C:Users AppDataLocalLotus directory should be renamed to C:Users AppDataLocalLotus.old and Lotus Notes should then be manually launched as the new NSF retrievercrawler account user and re-configured.
